!!!Potential buyers please read!!! Nov 28, 2009 As of Nov 27th 2009, the seller for this pedal is "Activemusician" and they do not have the vintage reissue in stock. I ordered this pedal from Activemusician and they sent me the Nano version. After exchanging e-mails with them they said that this is an error on their part and that they have their product (Nano version) incorrectly listed on Amazon.
The return process was handled promptly and the Nano pedal is on it's way back to them for a refund. That was 5 days ago. I figured they would have fixed the listing by now. Maybe it's Amazon's fault the listing hasn't been updated.
Just thought I'd warn any potential buyers out there.
I'm not sure, but this effect may be discontinued which seems to happen to a lot of the better EHX pedals.

Nice effects pedal. Simple and straightforward with a classic sound. Jun 05, 2009 This effects box is a classic phaser sound with a wide selection of speeds. There are two main effects settings selected with a switch. One gives a swelling wave like base effect, the other gives a more traditional phaser sound which comes after your note.
Nice Vintage Reissue Feb 14, 2008 My Small Stone doesn't look like the one pictured, but I'm going to assume that the guts are similar, as both feature the same controls. Mine was made in Russia, housed in a similar olive drab box to my Big Muff. Controls are pretty simple, a Rate knob and the color switch. With the color switch in the down position, the phaser gives off that great vintage tone. Flip it up, and it's a little crazier, still very controllable. One thing to keep in mind is that this pedal tends to dampen your output a little. You may need a volume pedal to compensate. A very nice, reasonably priced vintage reissue.
