I have been a fan of Mr AZ for quite a while now. This live CD is very enjoyable, I got it as a gift for my partner who is a HUGE fan. We both loved the DVD that accompanied it, as did the entire group of people that watched it with us. I would DEFINITELY recommend this CD to any Jason Mraz fan - new and old.

In a word, GreAwesoAmazIncrediBrilliant! Note that I am a fan of Mraz. And by fan I mean I buy his albums so this review may seem favorable but I'm always totally honest. This concert DVD was a Wonderful ride through Mraz's musical brilliance. He came with his musician friends to share with his fan friends and what a 'Show and Tell' it was. His total comfort presenting his art submerges you in the festive fun as his vocal talent and the bands impressive energy transports you to a musical euphoria. This is my first of Jason Mraz's concert DVDs. I've watched clips of his other concerts on streaming video and I feel this one has the most movie-like appeal, a direction I'm sure he was trying to go in with this project. I could be wrong, but because of my total satisfaction with this DVD, I will find out as I begin purchasing his older recorded works. In conclusion, I recommend this video. 5 Stars for me.

The band is TIGHT!
Jason is different. His music could be described as a combination of "jazz", "Reggae", "Blues", "Ballads" (LOL, Quote "This next one is a love song! Surprise surprisssse, I got nothin but love songs"! ... "Suedo Rap" ... Truth is, a friend of mine, a 70s & 80s rock & roller blew me away when he said "Ya Know? I'd pay a hundered bucks to see this concert live"! ... Kinda sums up Jason. Different for sure but mostly entertaining & thought provoking. I love this CD.

Jason Mraz's Beautiful Mess - Live on Earth (CD/DVD) is just amazing. The concert was perfection. Jason is one of the best performers today.
