Shinedown Live from the Inside Aug 01, 2008 wow is all that needs to be said...... Brent Smith is the voice that needs to be heard. The man can flat out sing! On cd these guys are great but live, there are no words that do them justice. The ENERGY of them is unbelievable. This is a must have for the diehard Shinedown fans, or for anyone that just loves rock.
shinedown May 14, 2008 This was a great video from a great band. Simple Man - Live by itself would be worth the cost, and you also get the TV video. Shinedown puts a lot of heart and energy into the performance. Truly one of the best bands around today

The studio albums are much better than the live album May 12, 2007 I was very suprised when I heard this album. It's terrible to hear shinedown. How is it possible that such a fantastic singer sings like my smoking grandmother.
I'm a big fan of shinedown, but I will never buy a live album from them again.

Good, But They Need to Release a New One Oct 12, 2006 I got into Shinedown after the release of their second album "Us and Them." This DVD was recorded from the final stop on their 2-year long tour that supported their first album. I have a hard time getting into new bands, my musical tastes are firmly cemented between the 1960s-1990s. Shinedown, however, has struck a chord with me because of a few reasons. Every member of the band is very talented, but singer Brent Smith is most impressive. The guy can belt it out and could (eventually) end up in the realm of Geoff Tate, Rob Halford, and Bruce Dickinson. The guy's a true vocalist...Their lyrics are thought-provoking and their songs are catchy...Oh and judging by this DVD they're a great Live act. This is far from the best concert DVD I've seen; After all, this DVD features only songs from the first album. But the guys have a polished live act and the camera work isn't bad. It's clear the crowd there was really digging the show. I'm not going to bother including the set list, because it's probably on here somewhere. The bonus features are interesting (two music videos; Simple Man & .45) and a Bonus Documentary, which takes a look at the band...Surprisingly, they all seem like nice genuine dudes who really love their fans. I don't know if I'd buy this DVD (I got lucky and found a place that had it to rent), but I will definitely buy the next DVD they put out (if they ever do). Hardcore fans of Shinedown will like it a lot more than just casual fans and if you're looking for material from the 2nd CD, you'll be very disappointed.

Excellent, however, far from PG Oct 20, 2005 This DVD is excellent. The live footage is great. The audio quality is excellent. Be forewarned, however, that there are f and s-words on this disk, as profanity is used during the show and during the documentary. Also, there are drug references, as Jasin Todd joked about Brent "stealing my drugs" and he also said that "drugs inspire me". So yes, this DVD is excellent, and it was $12 well spent.
