This is a great collection of Aerosmith songs, I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Aerosmith.

5Ultimate Aerosmith Hits  Jun 01, 2010
I was so please with these cd's. They had almost all of the songs I wanted on 2 cd's for such a great price. Could not beat it. I now share the cd's with my girls and they love it too. Would definitely recommend for any music lover.

2Lackluster Compilation of an Amazing Band  May 29, 2010
One of the few 70's rock bands to not only survive through three decades still intact but to also achieve enormous success along the way, Aerosmith deserves a better overview of them than this ultimately disappointing and insipid compilation. It's true that everyone's favorite singles like "Mama Kin", "Dream On", "Same Old Song and Dance", "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion", "Back in the Saddle", "Last Child", "Janie's Got a Gun", "(Dude) Look Like a Lady", "What It Takes", "Cryin'", and "Jaded" are here but not only are these tracks already in previous compilations but many other tracks that deserve as much recognition are not here. And when you consider that a CD usually clocks in at around 78 minutes and each of these discs just over 65 minutes, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you consider they could have added at least two more songs on each disc.

Any die-hard Aerosmith fan will tell you that this compilation is lacking just by looking at the track-list. Not only are fan favorites like "Lord of the Thighs", "Train Kept a Rollin", "Toys in the Attic", "Nobody's Fault", "Kings and Queens" and "Chip Away the Stone" missing but so are many album tracks that actually surpass many singles including "Spaced", "S.O.S.", "No More No More", "Rats in the Cellar", "A Lick and a Promise", "Critical Mass", "No Surprize", "Jailbait", "Let the Music Do the Talking", "My Fist Your Face", "Permanent Vacation", "Monkey On My Back", "Shut Up and Dance", "Hole in My Soul", "Sunshine" and their cover of the Beatles' "Come Together". "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" is here, yet "You See Me Crying" and "Home Tonight" are nowhere in sight. The thought of THAT just scratches the head.

The discs themselves are ridiculously inconsistent. I mean, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know that it would have been a better idea to split the two eras of Aerosmith into two discs, as opposed to having a disc featuring 3/4 of one era and 1/4 of another. It would have made more sense if they had Aerosmith songs from the 1970's on one disc and then their 80's-90's songs on the other. It's common logic and yet the company who owns these songs continue to screw up the most rudimentary ideas. Bleh.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more haphazard music compilation. Skip this junk and buy BOX OF FIRE or even PANDORA'S BOX instead.

3Decent  Jan 27, 2010
This CD is good but it's not great. Contains many of Aerosmith's classics but is missing many favorites including my personal favorite "Hangman Jury" Better off with Gold

5Awesome!  Dec 11, 2009
My first Aerosmith CD and am I happy with it. While it does not have all the BIG hits, it has enough to please.
