4Completely unique in P.O.D.'s discography  Aug 10, 2010
I have a difficult time giving this CD a rating because I don't think its music makes much difference. I don't know how many (if any) other people experience this CD the way I do, but I feel an amazing vibe from it, it just emanates right out of the band. The songs are definitely a big change of pace from Satellite, going for a more relaxed feel overall. They simply brim with positivity, and that has made it very special for me; as far as the band's growth, it is simply a stepping stone to the impressive follow-up, Testify. In my opinion, this was the perfect album for the band to brand with their name because it captures their essence, and it is absolutely gorgeous.

3Pretty good  Aug 12, 2008
This is probably P.O.D.'s least diverse release in quite a few years, but it's also the starting place for a replacement guitarist. The songs don't sounds very different from each other, but some of them are pretty solid. Will You is a good one, and Find My Way is a personal favorite. Sometimes the simpler songs are the best on this album. My favorite aspect of this album is the vibes it creates - It's impossible to put it to words, but this album has such a good feeling to it that you don't care if the songs aren't the band's best. It just sounds like they have the best intentions and are trying to redefine themselves musically. This is the only album I've heard with so much feeling behind the music.

5I love you Sonny!!!!  Mar 11, 2007
Like I said with the other review, this went heads up with Satellite. Awesome band, awesome lyrics and message, awesome guitar playing. I loved ETERNAL at the end.

5Masterpiece  Feb 12, 2007
I have followed P.O.D. since they put out "Fundemental Elelemts of Southtown." I am quite impressed on how they have progressed in their sound and how good their music has become. "Payable on Death" is, in my opinion, the best cd P.O.D. has put out. It's hard to describe the sound on this cd. It's metal but it's a soothing metal and Sonny actually sings instead of yells in this cd. It's really nice since Sonny has a great voice. It's ashame P.O.D. didn't keep this sound or their latest cd "Testify" could of been so much better. Since this review is really short and i don't really know how to describe the sound, i will make a list of the tracks and give them a star rating. 1 star = poor, 2 stars =fair, 3 stars = good, 4 stars = great, 5 stars = amazing.

Wildfire - 4 stars
Will You - 4 stars
Change the world - 5 stars
Execute the Sounds - 3 stars
Find My Way - 4 stars
Revolution - 3 stars
The Reasons - 4 stars
Freedom Fighters - 4 stars
Waiting on Today - 5 stars
I and Identify - 4 stars
Asthma - 2 stars
Eternal - 5 stars
