I had never really been a Hezekiah Walker fan until the single "I Made It" a few years ago and still had never purchased a complete album until "Souled Out". I don't understand how anyone could say that this is not his best work to date. Choirs all over the city I live in are singing these songs. And I'm sure that the same is true all over the country. The lyrics are inspirational and lively and you'll be humming the melodies all the time. It has a great balance between traditional and contemporary. Every song is either good or great. My favorites are "God favored Me", "Oh Give Thanks", "All of My Help", and "It Shall Come to Pass" and I haven't even mentioned the title track that has been a tremendous hit. This is a classic that you must have in your collection if you love choir-oriented gospel music!

This CD was delivered so quickly and I played my favorite cut over and over..."God Favored Me." This drove my son crazy but it's my car! When you order from Amazon the selection is extensive and the price is right.

So-so Worship music May 24, 2010
I have Hezikiah's previous CDs, but this wasn't his best work. Most of the songs on this CD are worship songs. The only upbeat song is "Souled Out", maybe there's another. I do not recommend this CD.

This CD really touched me at a time when God was needed. I have always been a Hezekiah Walker fan and this CD was great. "God Favored Me" is my favorite on the CD. You will be blessed by it.

I Heard this CD on the Radio and it touched my heart. I had to buy it, and it is now touching the hearts of all who hear it! The track, God Favors Me is one of the best.
